The Roadside Assistance War Of Prices

Filed under: Finance — admin @ 9:22 pm

If there were some great deals going around at the moment it would be Roadside Assistance deals offered by insurance companies and national breakdown cover organisations. If we start with the garage chain of Total, they are offering free roadside assistance for 14 days should you but 30 litres of fuel from their garage chain and what’s more, you can keep on buying fuel and keep on getting free roadside assistance, it is not a one off.  Churchill is also offering free roadside assistance when you buy car insurance from them, so it almost seem implausible to actually but a breakdown cover policy at the moment.

Of course not everyone has access to the freebies, so the next best thing is the national motoring clubs offering roadside assistance at prices rarely seen if ever seen before. Take Green Flag, they are offering their basic cover from £20 a year, which is less than my monthly newspaper bill. The AA and the RAC also offer their basic policies for under £30, taking a considered purchase into a no brainer purchase.

But even with such cheap prices many will still find a reason not to buy and regret the decision as they fork many times an annual breakdown insurance policy, just getting the car towed off the motorway. I can tell you it wont be me, my policy is bought.

How To Sell Composite Doors

Filed under: Home — admin @ 9:08 am

The art of selling something online is being able to explain the door features and benefits of a product without it actually being there in front of you. Take for example composite doors sold from an online shopping website. By looking at the pictures you can see no difference between a composite door and its nearest rival a door made from pvc. Yet there are key features, like extra strength durability and extra insulation the shopper needs to know about if they are ever going to buy.

One of the best ways to promote that product online is by using the power of video that can back up words with pictures of how that product was made and why it demand a higher price tag than another product that looks the same.

Her we have a video explaining how this company makes its composite doors. It doesn’t deliver any prices, or buy now and get a great deal. It just goes through the manufacturing process explaining the reasons why these doors are so good. Did you know that composite doors can look just like wooden ones but have 6 times the insulation properties? Well as you watch the video you can believe this is true and can understand the price of composite doors.

As the argument goes on about ensuring everyone has at least a 2mb internet connection, there is do doubt that this form of selling will just become bigger and bigger.

TV Shopping Ladder Blunder

Filed under: Humour — admin @ 9:49 pm

If you are going to represent a product on shopping TV, you would assume you would do your research first or at least try the product out before going in air. But this chap obviously did not do that and went on to make a bit of a fool of himself as well as a bit of pain. The product was  the Flex O Ladder, which is supposed to able to handle the weight of an adult in several positions. But they did not put it up properly and even though the shopping channel presenter got a warning when the ladder flexed downwards, he still chose to go on until it eventually collapsed and the producer, took him off screen. The wonderful world of TV shopping channels.
